SPOKE Motorcycle Festival 2022
Spoke'n Tales
The opportunity to listen to some enthralling stories from people who have spent more time on a bike than most. Jeremy Torr is a journalist who used to work for Discovery Channel - but just loves riding bikes to unusual places. He has ridden (mostly solo) through Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam in Asia, as well as the Sahara, Arctic Circle, Ukraine, Albania, Croatia, Morocco, Latvia, Poland and most of the EU countries too. He has contributed quite a few adventure bike stories to Motorcycle Sport & Leisure (UK), Traverse & Bikesales.Com (Australia) as well as a mention or two in Bike Magazine (UK).
Jeremy really does have a story to tell and we will interview Jeremy in the main tent (Saturday at 2pm) to listen to some of his amazing adventures.
Spoke'n Tales
Tim Coleman will be our second Spoke’n Tales interview for the festival. Tim is another person who has spent more time on a motorbike than most. From taking up motorcycling at 4 years old, to representing his country in trails to placing 5th in the 2014 Wildwood Extreme Enduro, the toughest enduro race in Australia.
Tim’s talents on a motorcycle were also noticed by a Hollywood studio who approached Tim to perform in a motorcycle stunt scene in the movie blockbuster The Wolverine starring Hugh Jackman. This led to stunt shows in Australia, China, Germany and USA. Tim then became a passionate coach (timcolemanx.com).
Tim also has a great story to tell, so make sure you come and hear it in the main tent on Sunday at 2pm.
About Spoke
Called ‘spoke’ because of the obvious, the spoke of the motorcycle wheel, but also because of the spoken word. The stories told by motorcyclists all over the world about their bikes, their adventures & friendships made. If you pull on a helmet & ride a motorbike, then you have a story to tell. Come & share it.
